eh... this didnt export out as well as i thought. I did this on an Imac then transfered it to a windows O_o this is weird. It's kinda pixely. Anyways.... I really like this sketch for some reason.... can't do much with it but well.. thinking of doing a charcoal one later... if i have time that is sigh*
That's pretty awesome. I like the use of the black and white in the background and the evil eyes are a nice touch. The illustration itself just rocks, the detail is immense in his shirt. I love this.

seriously seng, i know you can do better than this, im getting a bit sick of seeing the same shit over and over again, so basically this sucks, yes it sucks, im sorry but it does. i guess you've lost your touch because of your job/school/payments/stress. oh well either move on or suffer some more as your work is suffering dearly, either let them go or work on something for a week or two then submit it.
I disagree with ~ragingpixels. This is a great piece of work.
Very stylistic. The black and white work is great. Reminds me of work from such artists as [link]">Dan Kim and darkLem.
Really dig the layout of figures in the piece. Very mystic.
One thing that I am iffy on is how it loses detail as you move from top to bottom. In this case, sketchy looks better here.
I really like it. A very cool job, Seng.
yeah thats your opinion, as is what i said mines as well. i was just tired of giving righteous comments to items(so to speak) when at the same time some part of me was thinking this just isnt good enough, you know, like relating it to some of their other art, the past submissions were somewhat more better and more interesting. in this image i get the feeling it was rushed, as if there was really no thought put into it. As maybe the reason why the emotion of half complete appears is because the artist/creator was under pressure of some sort, maybe it was the type of pressure that one gives oneself to finish something at a certain time. I have ran into this with myself on plenty of occasions as im sure you have as well, but not just with art but with everyday life as well for example washing the dishes or being home fast enough to watch something on TV. What im trying to say is that the seemed half done and all of seng's other work seem to have more, no, A HUGE AMOUNT of emotions imprinted into each submission. Sorry for the long reply but this is how i felt, hope you understand.
PS. Did you notice that at the very beginning of the comment/reply, it was grammatically typed incorrectly like with lowercased letters where there is supposed to be uppercased? Then somewhere down below, it had evolved(so to speak) into sentences where periods and commas were used correctly. Strange, for some reason I keep wanting to type, oh well gotta go, later(could be the music im listening, its kind of ambient/rnb-ish'). To tell you the truth I'm glad that someone had noticed my comment, thanks for noticing .

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
